Movie Theatre Movie Night

The Watchung Hills PTO organizes an annual Movie Night Social Event to bring WH students together for a fun, shared experience. T  his event typically involves renting a screen at a local theater—most recently at Bernardsville Cinema 3—to show a current, popular movie in a private or semi-private setting.

• Registration is required in advance due to limited seating at early-bird pricing, with walk-ins allowed on the night only if space remains (often subject to a late fee).
  
  
• For the upcoming 2027 event, plans include letting students vote to select the movie, adding an engaging, student-driven element.

Outdoor Movie Night

In addition, in late spring, the PTO has partnered with the student-led Active Minds club (focused on mental health awareness and wellness) to co-host a FREE Outdoor Movie Night exclusively for all WHRHS students.

This collaborative event promotes connection, relaxation, and community spirit through a family-friendly film shown outdoors—often in early June based on past dates—providing a no-cost way to unwind and build positive school vibes.

These movie nights are part of the PTO's broader efforts to foster school spirit and involvement.
