Senior Year is Here! 🎓🤎💛

We want to fill the year with memories, celebrations, and plenty of Warrior spirit — and make sure our seniors have an amazing final year together.

The WHRHS PTO is looking for parents to join the Project Graduation 2027 Committee. This committee raises funds, organizes traditional senior events and surprises throughout the year, and culminates in an unforgettable celebration on June 11, 2027 — a drug- and alcohol-free, all-night graduation party.

🎉 What Is Project Graduation?
Project Graduation is a year-long effort to celebrate the Class of 2027 and give our seniors a memorable send-off from WHRHS — and we’re kicking things off right away!

October 9 — Senior Shirts & Class Panorama
Every senior will receive a special senior long-sleeve shirt when they report to school, and a professional photographer will be on hand to take the class panoramic photo for the yearbook.

Throughout the year, we’ll also celebrate 2027 on the 27th of October, January, and April with keepsakes and little surprises to mark this once-in-a-lifetime year.

🎓 Senior Week & Graduation Night

Project Graduation helps make Senior Week special with:

• 🍳 Senior Breakfast while students sign yearbooks

• 🍕 Food & snacks during graduation rehearsal days

• 🎉 Project Graduation — June 11, 2027!
  
  

On graduation night, our seniors are bused to a special venue for an all-night celebration with their friends. In past years, seniors have enjoyed everything from sports fields and inflatables to poker rooms, cornhole, silent disco, climbing, caricatures, arcades, and more!

It’s their final hurrah as WHRHS Warriors — and we want to make it one they’ll never forget. 🤎💛

💰 How Do We Make It Happen?

Project Graduation is funded entirely through the support of our families, community, and local businesses. Fundraising includes:

• 🎭 Events such as Comedy Night and Paint & Sip

• 🏡 Graduation lawn signs

• 🤝 Donations from local businesses and organizations

• 🤎 A suggested minimum donation of $150 per senior family
  
  

Donate by November 1, 2026, and your senior will receive a FREE graduation lawn sign!

• Check: Make payable to WHRHS Project Graduation and place it in the PG mailbox in the main office, addressed to Vaishali Amberkar, PG Treasurer.
• Please include your senior’s name with your donation.

🙌 We Need YOU!

It takes many volunteers to make this year memorable, and there’s a place for everyone — in a leading or supporting role. Help once, take on a project, or stay involved all year long.

We especially need volunteers to help:

• Organize and run fundraising events

• Plan Senior Week celebrations

• Help with Project Graduation night

• Design graduation signs or senior merchandise

• Reach out to local businesses for donations

• Help with food, decorations, logistics, and activities

• Lend whatever skill, talent, or great idea you have!
  
  

Many hands make light work, and the more parents who get involved, the more we can do for our seniors throughout this once-in-a-lifetime year.
